3rd and long, Godley ball. QB Good fades back to pass, then sees an open field in front of him. A Trojan slows him down, but then gets help. Teams should use this video to train how to tackle someone with no hands. Fortunately, Godley overcame this 12th man to win the game, 34-0.  A big thanks to Artskoe for sharing the video.

Godley Drumline

The Godley High School football team is 12-0.  Saturday they play Pilot Point for the state quarterfinal round.  When they win they will be in the final 4 of the Division 1 Class 2A state championship.  This has been an awesome year to watch them play.   The boys make it fun and the band,TopCats, and cheerleaders make each game a total event.  If you can make it out be at Saginaw Rough Rider Stadium at 2:30 Saturday.  If you can’t make it you can listen to the game live here:
