The funeral for Officer David Hogan of the Cleburne Police Department is scheduled Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Laurel Land Funeral Home in Ft. Worth.  Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. with the funeral services beginning at 3:00 P.M.

Officer Hogan passed away Friday evening as a result of injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Somervell County earlier that day after his tour of duty.

Officer David Hogan was a member of the Cleburne Police Department for 7 years.  He was a beloved member of our close knit organization and will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with David’s family in their time of sorrow.

A blood drive is being held in Officer Hogan’s honor on Monday, August 10th.  The times and locations for the blood driver are:

8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Cleburne Municipal Court, 303 W. Henderson and Fire Station 2, 606 S. Nolan River Road.

From 12 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Fire Station 1, 801 E. Henderson and Fire Station 3, 901 W. Kilpatrick.
