Betty Cook, the Layland Museum Educator, wants to let Cleburne know about all of the exciting events that they have planned for the remainder of the summer.  Here is a list:

Sat., July 25—Collectors’ Day: Drop in to see what Cleburne collects today. 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Tues., July 28—Children:  Swing Dance, 10:30-11:30 a.m., upstairs theater

AUGUST at the LAYLAND

Aug. 4—Children: “ We’ve Got Games” Day at Hulen Park, 10:30-11:30 a.m.

Aug. 10—Grown Ups Game Night [dominoes], 7-9 p.m.

Aug. 17—Wild West Films, 6:30-9 p.m. at the LIBRARY: Gary Cooper in High Noon

Aug. 19—Brown Bag:  “Steppin’ Out for a Spa Experience” at Booker T. Washington Ctr.,11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.  [by Serenity Springs Spa]

Aug. 30—Gallery Sunday:  “Promote Yourself!” Fox reporter Jeff Crilley & Son, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
