Fly High Wireless ISP Tower
This Internet service provider tower blew over in the storms Tuesday night. The tower belongs to Fly High Wireless. The damage is an indicator of how strong the winds were in this area. The tower is located near CR 1010 and CR 905. No injuries have been reported. Please tell your friends you saw it on JohnsonCountyEvents.com.
Does anyone know if this tower is being repaired? I use fly high wireless and my internet has been down since tuesday night. I can’t get a response from their telephone support.
I live within eyesight of the tower. I have not seen any crews out there working on it. I, too, have called and left messages with no response. I also emailed them and received no response. My guess is that this is not good news.
There was a crew on site Tuesday afternoon to determine the best course of action in getting the tower back up and service restored. We were delayed by a couple of days when insurance investigators determined guy wires had been cut, out come of their investigation is still pending.
FlyHigh apologizes for the inconveniences this incident has caused. We are working diligently to restore Internet service in the area , current best estimate is 7-10 days.

Thanks for your response Scott. We all hope you get it repaired soon. Good luck.
Well, it seems that things have changed a little. It looks like FlyHighWireless is no more and CDi has bought their towers in Joshua and Godley. CDi also acquired the FLyHighWireless subscriber lost. I have been told by CDi that the plan on replacing the damaged tower but it will take a couple of weeks. They are running signal checks to see who they can get back online with existing towers. Here is their website.

Any further updates to this?
Yes, CDI has bought out FlyHighWireless. They came by my house last Wednesday to see how they could hook me up on one of their existing towers. They are going to replace the damaged tower but it will take some time, I’m thinking months. You might try contacting CDI and see if they can help you out. Please see their link in my response above dated June 7.
