This week’s winner of the Teacher of the Week is a teacher at Hughes Middle School in the Burleson ISD.  She was nominated by her Assistant Principal Mekasha Brown.  Please read what Ms. Brown had to say about the winner:

Debbie Kerr is too humble to take credit or “toot her own horn” but, she really is motivating to her students and engages them in class every day.  She comes across with that “hard shell” but, she is truly a caring and nurturing teacher and wants the best not only for her students, but for our campus!
