Pecan Plantation Garden Tour

It’s spring, all the plants are green and the flowers are blooming.  It is the season for gardening.  This month there will be a garden tour at Pecan Plantation in Granbury.  The event will be co hosted by Green Thumb Garden Club and Ladybugs Garden Club.  This year’s tour will be the first time one at Pecan Plantation that will be open to the public and is a major fund raiser that supports many education programs in the area.  Visitors will be treated to a tour of seven beautiful and unique gardens and may possibly see some dear and fawns.  The event will be open to the public Saturday, May 30 8-4 and Sunday, 9-2.  Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.pecanplantationgardentour.comBarbara Goodwin-Lantz and Lucy Reed are two of the main workers in this endeavor and they say to wear good walking shoes and bring your camera and be ready for some spectacular views of the gardens.
