The AP released a new story today stating that the circulation of print newspapers is falling faster than it has ever fallen before. Also, our local newspaper came out with a 3/4 page ad yesterday claiming a print circulation of “almost 6500″. Is their circulation also falling?
We live in a county of 200,000 citizens. Cleburne itself has a population of around 30,000. Our local printed paper claims that they have Johnson County covered but boasts of a circulation of “almost 6500?” How can that be?
JohnsonCountyEvents contends that the established print media have been asleep at the wheel. They have been around about 100 years and they only have a circulation of 6500?
