Our Teacher of the Week is from Grandview Elementary. Ms. Phyllis Marti submitted the nomination. Please read her words:
I would like to make a nomination for the teacher of the week, Karen Richardson.
Karen teaches reading here at Grandview Elementary what she does for our struggling readers is nothing short of a miracle, she is able to provide the one on one time these students need. That time coupled with the extra encouragement is what many need to get over the hump to becoming great readers!
She is also our teacher “on call” Anytime one of our students is struggling the first thought is, “What is Karen during that time?” She never hesitates to make room in her already stressed schedule to find a moment for giving some extra TLC.
She is a true asset to the faculty and students.
Congratulations to Ms. Richardson. You deserve it. Ms. Richardson has won $45.00 worth of hair care products from John and Company Salon and Spa.
